Cyanogen Inc. has finally released a nightly version of CyanogenMod for Xiaomi users.
Codenamed Cancro, Xiaomi’s Mi 3 and Mi 4 devices will be able to download Lollipop-based CyanogenMod version 12.1. But a word of warning, in the CyanogenMod world, nightly means it is not a stable release.
Think of it more like a beta version.
Cyanogen already supports a a large number of smartphones for its now well known CyanogenMod. Some phone companies are even shipping stock devices with CyanogenMod, like OnePlus. However, they switched over to their own Oxygen OS a year later.
Indian device maker Micromax also runs a version of the CyanogenMod on its Yureka line.
