An anonymous source from Beijing told WCCFTECH that the Xiaomi Mi5 will make its public appearance “by the end of November” of this year.

The Mi 5 is rumored to run a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820, and it was thought that production issues of the chipset would delay release until 1Q 2016.

We think it is very likely that the Mi 5 will launch initially with a MediaTek chipset, until Snapdragon catches up.

Last week, a leaked teaser image revealed that the Mi 5 will likely have a fingerprint reader, and be made of curved glass.

The Mi 5 first made waves when news broke that it was benchmarked on AnTuTu, and received an epic score of 73,075 points.

According to the AnTuTu listing, the Mi5 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 64-bit processor.
