Xiaomi has launched its first laptop named MI Notebook Air. Long rumored and most anticipating Mi Notebook is released in two variant.
The first model comes with a 12.5-inch display and another module comes with a 13.3-inch display.
The 12.4-inch variant of Mi Notebook Air is priced at RMB CNY 3,499 (roughly Rs. 35,300) and the 13.3-inch variant of Mi Notebook is priced at CNY 4,999 (roughly Rs. 51,400).
It is clear that Xiaomi is targeting to compete with Apple MacBook Air. Both of the Mi Notebook are thinner and slimmer compared to MacBook Air.
Both of these laptops features lightweight full metal body and edge-to-edge glass protection along with elegant logo-less design.
Mi Notebook Air 13.3 version is powered by Intel Core i5 processor, NVIDIA GeForce 940MX dedicated graphics card and 8GB DDR4 RAM, 256GB PCIe SSD. Its weight is only weighing just 1.28kg and able to provide 9.5-hour battery back-up.
Mi Notebook Air 12.5 version is powered by Intel Core M3 processor, 4GB RAM, and 128GB SATA SSD. Its weight is only 1.07kg able to provide 11.5-hour battery back-up.
Both of the notebooks comes expandable SSD slot and full HD display. Windows 10 Home is by default operating system of the notebook. The notebook also supports Mi band integration, Mi Cloud, and some other Mi services.
