Xiaomi has launched an upgraded version of Mi Power Bank 2.
The second-generation Mi Power Bank 2 looks similar to the first Mi Power bank 2 but with a shorter and more narrow build.
Moreover, the latest one comes with a slightly increased thickness of 2.1mm.
It has surface bumps which prevent the device from slipping off the hands.
The Mi Power Bank 2 uses high-density lithium-polymer batteries for improved performance and durability.
Compare to first generation Mi Power Bank 2 the single port output of 5V / 2A has been raised to 5V/2.4A.
There are also output ratings of 9V/2A and 12V / 1.5A.
The second-generation Mi Power Bank 3 supports QUALCOMM quick charge 3.0.
According to Xiaomi, it is capable of delivering a full charge to the 4,850mAh Mi Max just in 2.5 hours.
The upgraded power bank is able to charge almost every mobile phone, tablets out there including Apple MacBook.
It is also able to charge Mi Band 2 and other gadgets that require a minimal current charge.
The Mi Power Band 2 will go on sale for the first time on December 19 for. It will be only available in White color.
The Mi Mobile Power Band 2 carries the same price tag of its predecessor which is CNy149(around $22).
