It leaks!

As the world readies itself for the unveiling of the top-secret MIUI 7 on Thursday, Xiaomi can’t seem to stop it’s hardware from leaking.

Now we have our first look at the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 from a seemingly premature Oppomart listing.

According to Oppomart, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 will be priced at $199 (approximately Rs. 13,000).

According to a separate leaked image, the 32GB version would cost CNY 799 (roughly Rs. 8,211).

According to the Oppomart listing, the Redmi Note 2 will have a 5.5-inch 2.5D display with a screen resolution of 1080×1920 pixels and will run Android 5.1 Lollipop-based MIUI 7.

The Redmi Note 2 is said to contain a 64-bit MediaTek (MT6795) octa-core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and Adreno 405 GPU.

We believe it should support dual Micro-SIMs (not confirmed).

Apart from the display, the specs remind us of the recently announced Redmi 2 Prime.
