The upcoming Xiaomi Mi 4C has already leaked on AnTuTu and TENAA, and images of its retail packaging have also been revealed confirming it will carry the Snapdragon 808.

But now we have a launch date.

The Mi 4C will be officially announced on September 24, and hit stores on October 3.

In a bit of a weird twist, it seems that Xiaomi will only plan to produce 1,000,000 units of the Mi 4C, priced at 1,299 yuan (US$204).

In addition to the Snapdragon 808 which will be clocked at 1.8GHz, the Mi 4C will also come with 3,000mAh battery.

4G LTE will be supported, and the device will also sport the USB Type-C 3.0 port.

The Mi 4c will have a full HD 5-inch screen and resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.
