MIUI 7 bug fix: Background apps and notifications

Why aren’t apps running in background, or showing notifications, even after enabling auto start permission and allowed to run in background?

Solution 1:

Settings -> Additional Settings  -> Battery  -> Manage app battery usage, now turn off the following options:

  • Manage app battery usage
  • Restrict apps when battery is low

Solution 2:

  • Select “Choose apps to restrict” and unselect/untick the apps from the list
  • Reboot the device and check.

Solution 3:

Security App  -> Data Usage  -> Data Usage Stats, select the apps and check whether “Background data” is allowed or not.

    I’m using Infocus m2 mobile…
so I’m interested to install MIUI 7 for my mobile.
plz tell me how to install it..

MIUI is a very power hungry ROM and you have a infocus m2 which comes with 1 gb RAM, The MIUI requires 1 gb just to start and will trouble you a lot, instead go for CyanogenMod 12 which is more efficient.(I am speaking from experience, I own an MI4 and out of 3gb RAM, i only get 1.5/1.7 gb for my usage)

I have tried all these 3 solutions on my MI4I (MIUI 7) but still I’m not getting notifications on my device. Please help me out if you can. You can reach me on my email [email protected]

    Thanks in advance.

Unfortunatelly none of these solutions worked for me.

I also locked app (Inbox, Hangouts) in RAM, permit it to autostart. But sometimes I still get notifications only after I open the particular app.
    Any other tips please?
