According to new reports, the Xiaomi Mi 5 is going to be priced the same at launch as its predecessor the Mi 4, right around $300.
Based on the rumored specs we’ve seen for this device, it could be the best priced phone entering the market.
The Mi 5 first made waves when news broke that it was bench marked on AnTuTu, and received an epic score of 73,075 points.
According to the AnTuTu listing, the Mi 5 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 64-bit processor.
Additional rumors include a leaked teaser image revealed that the Mi 5 will likely have a fingerprint reader, and be made of curved glass.
According to the leaks, the Mi5 will have:
- 5.3 inches display, sporting a Quad HD screen with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels
- The display will produce 554 ppi
- Adreno 530 graphics
- Optically-stabilized 16 megapixel back camera (should be able to shoot amazing slow-motion video)
- Dual-LED flash
- 5.3mm thick
- 3,030 mAh battery
- MIUI 7 running 5.1.1 Android Lollipop
- USB Type-C port
