Mobile In Africa (MIA), who initially brought the Xiaomi Mi 4 to South Africa, has announced they will also begin selling the Redmi Note 2.
Prices for the Redmi Note 2 will start at R2,999 (US$196).
MIA president RJ van Spaandonk said, “At R2,999 we are bringing the 5.5” form factor within reach of the majority of smartphone users in the country.”
