Xiaomi has officially launched Mi drone. It’s wallet friendly drone with a portable design and attractive features.
Mi drone will be released soon in two variants. The first variant will feature a 1080p HD camera and another variant will carry 4K ultra HD camera with 104-degree wide-angle view. Both drones are capable of stream 720p video while the 4K camera is capable of capture 3840 x 2160 pixels still image.
The drone carry a removable 5100mAH battery and 4 propeller system. It also featured autopilot, GPS, vision bases positioning, and GLONASS features. It can fly non-stop up to 27 minutes with location-based tracking and auto hover where necessary.
Its 4K camera comes with 12MP Sony sensor and umbrella processor. You can control it within 2KM with its powerful dual band PCB antenna.
This drone can detect no-fly zone automatically and hover over based on it. Another exclusive feature of Mi drone is auto landing. The user can enable auto landing mode with a single click. The drone will return its take off position automatically.
It’ll generate a signal when its battery level goes down. It is also capable of report its location if crashed.
What’s about the price? The first variant with 1080p camera will cost RMB 2499 ($381) and the second variant with 4K camera will cost RMB 2999 ($458).
