Xiaomi Redmi 3S launched in China back in June. The Redmi 3 successor was launched in two variants
Xiaomi confirmed that they are all set to launch Xiaomi Redmi 3S in the Indian market on Wednesday 3rd August. So far, Redmi 3S is only available in China and India will be its first overseas market.
The first variant carries 2GB RAM and 32GB of storage will be priced at roughly Rs. 7,000 and the second variant features 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage will be priced at roughly Rs. 9,000.

The affordable handset Redmi 3S powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor along with Adreno 505GPU. Both variants support external micro SD card up to 128GB.
One of the major improvement over its predecessor Redmi 3 is the fingerprint sensor. It sports a fingerprint sensor at the back panel.
The Redmi 3S comes with an IPS 5-inch display with a resolution of 720×1280 pixels. The handset features a 13MP front camera with an aperture of f/2.0 support PDA (Phase detection auto-focus), LED flash, HDR mode, and 1080p video recording. It also carries a 5MP front facing camera supports 1080p video recording.
The Redmi 3S carries a 4100mAH battery and hybrid sim slot. For connectivity purpose it supports 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, GPRS/ EDGE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11, Glonass, and Micro-USB. The device is expected to launch in Grey, Silver, and Gold colors.
