Xiaomi is planning to double its offline presence in India. Now Xiaomi handset is only available via several online stores including Amazon India, Flipkart, Mi.Com, and Snapdeal.
The offline retail store enhancement will take place over the next few months. However, Xiaomi reports, 90 percent of its sales come from the online channel in India.
“For us, online is the dominant channel and we are trying to build a base for offline in India.”-said Xiaomi India Head Manu Jain said in Mumbai.
In association with Redington, Innocomm and Just Buy Live Xiaomi is planning to set at least 10,000 offline retails stores.
Xiaomi India Head also said, “We are scaling up the facility at Andhra Pradesh. We are adding more lines and more capacity to the same plant and once we exhaust it, we are thinking of adding more factories along with our partners Foxconn. “
Xiaomi had recently launched Redmi 3S and 3S Prime to India market and both these device is a hot cake in the market.
