Xiaomi unveils its first NFC-based mobile payment service called “Mi-Pay”. Its major steps to enter to the mobile payment industry.
The Mi-Pay is easy and convenient payment service works similarly to Apple Pay, Android Pay, and Samsung Pay.
This latest payment technology uses NFC wireless technology to transfer payment into to eliminate the physical use of debit and credit cards.
Xiaomi has also announced the list of partner’s bank that supports Mi-Pay. China Construction Bank, Bank of Communications, China Merchants Bank, Huaxia Bank, Minsheng Bank, Ping An Bank, and Industrial Bank are the current partner of Mi-Pay.
Xiaomi confirmed more bank including Bank of China, Industrial and Commercial Bank, China Everbright Bank, Beijing Bank, and Guangdong Development Bank will be added next month.
Currently, Xiaomi has only one smartphone to support Mi-Pay service that is Mi 5. It expected that Xiaomi will launch more device with NFC supports.
