Xiaomi has launched its latest wearable in China named “Xiaomi Amazfit Smartwatch”. The Smartwatch is made in association with Huami.
The Xiaomi Amazfit Smartwatch is priced at CNY 799 (roughly Rs. 8,100). The smart watch will be available for purchase from August 31, Wednesday.
The smartwatch carries 1.34-inch circular display with a resolution of 300×300 pixel. It is powered by 1.2GHz processor and equipped with 512MB RAM. The Amazfit also carries 4GB of storage and hear rate tracker.
Xiaomi has claimed that it is the world’s first smartwatch with a 28nm GPS sensor. The watch is bearing IP67 certification which suggests it is dust and water resistant.
It also features a ceramic bezel which is said to scratch resistant along with replaceable 22nm band.
Amazfit is powered by a 200mAh battery which can provide service for 5 days on a single charge. If users use GPS feature the service will drop down to 30 hours. With just pedometer function, the battery is said to last 11.6 days.
Xiaomi says the smartwatch will work on any Android phone with MiFit installed. Xiaomi has also partnered with Alibaba to provide mobile payment support.
