5g lte issue in redmi 3

Most of the Xiaomi devices including Xiaomi Redmi 3 are upgraded to MIUI 8. Xiaomi Redmi 3 users reportedly faced, 4G LTE missing issue running on MIUI 8.

This article will demonstrate how to solve the 4G LTE signal issues with the simple patch file. This will solve the 4G LTE issue permanently.


  • TWRP recovery installed device.
  • The device must be rooted.
  • At least 60% charge.
  • Running on MIUI 8.

Note: This process is only applicable for Xiaomi Redmi 3/Prime. Do not try on other devices.

Here is the step by step guide to fix 4G LTE issue in Redmi 3/Prime:

Step 1: Download the patch file. Click here to download the file.

Step 2: Put the downloaded file into device storage.

Step 3: Boot the device into TWRP recovery mode. To do this press volume down and power button at the same time.

Step 4: Click on “Install” from the main menu. After clicking install navigate to the downloaded the file and choose it. Now swipe right to confirm flashing.

Step 5: Wait until the process is finished. After completing go back and reboot the device. You’ll 4G LTE is back on your device.
