Xiaomi has recently launched Mi Note 2 with a dual curved display featuring an attractive design and high-end display. On the hand, One Plus 3 has launched back in June with high-end specs.

This article will demonstrate on a head to head comparison between Xiaomi Mi Note 2 and One Plus 3. The comparison will cover comparison between design and dimension, hardware and display, camera, battery, and software.

1. Design and Dimension:

The Mi Note 2 comes with a design quite similar to Samsung Galaxy Note 7. It houses a dual-curved screen and physical home button placed under it. The main camera placed in the upper middle part of the backside along with glass coating on the front and back. The device measures 156.2 x 77.3 x 7.6 mm

On the other hand, OnePlus 3 measures 152.7 x 74.7 x 7.4 mm which looks much better live than on photos. It houses a large Home button on the front just below the 5.5-inch display. The main camera lens placed of OnePlus 3 placed on the upper middle part of the backside.

Both models look attractive, elegant and sleek. In our point of view, the winner of the design clash is the Mi Note 2.

2. Hardware and Display:

The Mi Note 2 is powered by Snapdragon 821 chipset (2×2.35 GHz Kryo & 2×1.6 GHz Kryo). The Mi Note 2 comes in two versions; first one houses 4GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage, the other one houses 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of built-in storage. There is no support for external SD card.

OnePlus 3 is powered by Snapdragon 820 SoC (2×2.15 GHz Kryo & 2×1.6 GHz Kryo along with Adreno 530) equipped with 6 GB of RAM. The phone sports 64 GB of storage. There is no SD card slot.

The Mi Note 2 sports a 5.7-inch, dual-curved, 1080p AMOLED screen which makes it a true alternative of Samsung Note 7. On the other hand, OnePlus 3 sports a 5.5-inch 1080p Optic AMOLED display. Both devices carry Adreno 530 GPU for smooth graphics rendering. Though OnePlus 3 is 0.2-inch smaller than Mi Note 2 both the devices are best suited for gaming, movie and surfing.

3. Camera:

The Mi Note 2 sports 22.5 MP (f/2.0) and supports EIS, phase detection autofocus, dual-LED flash, and HDR. The main camera is able to record [email protected] videos. The selfie camera in the front has 8 MP (f/2.0) and supports autofocus.

While OnePlus 3 sports 16 MP (f/2.0) main camera supports PDA, OIS, LED flash, and HDR. It is capable of recording [email protected] videos as well as [email protected] slow-motion videos. It has 8 MP (f/2.0) shooter at the font and is capable of recording 1080p videos.

The Mi Note 2 is also a winner in Camera section in terms of quality, performance, and features

4. Battery and Software:

The Mi Note 2 houses a massive 4070 mAh battery while OnePlus 3 packs a 3000 mAh battery. Both phones support Quick Charge, a fingerprint sensor. OnePlus 3 runs on Android M coated with Oxygen OS; The Mi Note 2 also runs Android M on top of MIUI.

Final Verdict:

The 4/64 GB model should cost around $415, while the 6/128 GB model should come with a price of around $490. The Mi Note 2 is a perfect choice for Samsung Galaxy and Samsung Note 7 fans.

OnePlus 3 costs $399 and can be bought directly from the OnePlus 3 official site. It is best suited for within affordable budget with solid design and hardware.
