Official CyanogenMod 14.1 released for Xiaomi Mi3 and Mi4.
CyanogenMod 14.1 is based on Android Nougat and comes with latest features of Android N.
- TWRP installed device. TWRP 220.127.116.11 is recommended to flash.
- Enabled USB debugging. To do this Go to Settings->Developer options
- At least 70% charged phone.
Note: Take full back-up before you proceed. Flashing custom ROM may void your warranty. Xiaomi Ninja is not responsible for any kind of damage.
How to flash Official CyanogenMod 14.1:
Step 1: Firstly, you need to download the ROM. Click here to download the ROM.
Step 2: Download suitable GAAPS for your device. Click here to download GAAPS.
Step 3: Put the above-downloaded file into device SD card storage.
Step 4: Now boot the device into TWRP recovery mode. To do this press volume down and power button at the same time.
Step 5: Perform a factory reset. To do this go to Wipe->Advanced Wipe->Select Wipe Cache, Dalvik System Cache and data. Then Swipe to confirm the action.
Step 6: Return to recovery main menu window and click on “Install”. Now navigate to the downloaded ROM file and swipe to confirm the flashing process. Do the same flash process for GAAPS.
Step 7: Wipe Cache and Dalvik Cache again from the recovery main menu again and reboot your device.
Now you have successfully installed Android Nougat AOSP ROM on Xiaomi Mi 3 and Mi 4.
