AOSP 7.0 Nougat ROM is out for Xiaomi Mi Note Pro.
The mysterious Android developer Mr. Ivan has released the unofficial build of Android Nougat AOSP ROM for Mi Note Pro.
- Bootloader unlocked
- TWRP installed device. TWRP 22.214.171.124 is recommended to flash.
- Enabled USB debugging. To do this Go to Settings->Developer options
- At least 70% charged phone.
Note: Take full back-up before you proceed. As this is a beta release you may face some force close issue. Don’t flash SuperSu or any ROOT zips – this will kill the network.
Here is the step by step guideline to install Android Nougat on Mi Note Pro:
Step 1: Download the ROM. Click here to download the ROM.
Step 2: Download GAAPS for your device. Click here to download GAAPS.
Step 3: Put the above-downloaded files into device SD card storage.
Step 4: Now boot the device into TWRP recovery mode. To do this press volume down and power button at the same time.
Step 5: Perform a factory reset. To do this go to Wipe->Advanced Wipe->Select Wipe Cache, Dalvik System Cache and data. Then Swipe to confirm the action.
Step 6: Return to recovery main menu window and click on “Install”. Now navigate to the downloaded ROM file and swipe to confirm the flashing process. Do the same flash process for GAAPS.
Step 7: Wipe Cache and Dalvik Cache again from the recovery main menu again and reboot your device.
You have successfully installed Android Nougat AOSP ROM on Xiaomi Mi Note Pro!
