Google Assistant is powerful smartphone assistant comes pre-installed in newly launched Google Pixel phones.

Till now Google Assistant is not available to public yet.

Follow this step by step guide to get Google Assistant on your device.


  • This method is only working on devices running on Android Nougat. It can be stock Android Nougat or Based on Any custom ROM.
  • The device needs to be TWRP recovery installed.

Here is the step by step video guide to installing Google Assistant:

Step 1: First you have to download the pixel launcher. Click here to download the Pixel Experience Launcher Version 2.2.1. Put the downloaded file into device internal storage (Not inside any folder).

Step 2: Now put your phone into TWRP recovery mode and click on install. Then navigate to ZIP file which you have downloaded in step 1. Select it and swipe right to flash.

Step 3: Once it done rebooting your device. This ZIP file will not only enable Google Assistant but also your phone will look like Pixel with all the new features.

Step 4: Once your device is rebooted just hold the home button to Google Assistant set up. Now you’re done. Enjoy!
