Xiaomi has launch the next generation Mi TV 4 along with White Mi Mix at CES 2017.
Both devices will go on sale later this year in China.
The Mi TV comes in three display sizes 49, 55 and 65 inches respectively.
All these three variants can be purchased with or without Dolby Atmos home theater.
Xiaomi’s Global VP Hugo Barra Stated, “Xiaomi Mi TV 4 is also the first TV in its lineup to incorporate the Dolby Atmos audio technology for the cinema-grade experience.”
The new Mi TV is 37 percent thinner than the Mi MIX and 30 percent thinner than the iPhone 7, says Xiaomi.
It features a modular design that means users can swap motherboard and other parts in order to upgrade the TV.
The Mi TV bar carries 10 speakers and 2 wireless rear satellite speakers, and a subwoofer.
It also features Xiaomi’s own AI (artificial intelligence) based UI called PatchWall. It’ll recommend relevant content based on user history and own analysis.
There is no exact price is announced, but Hugo Barra promised the price will be under $2000 (roughly Rs. 1,35,000 for with Dolby Atmos home theater.
The Mi TV 4 without Dolby Atmos home theater is promised to be under $1500 (roughly Rs. 102,000).
Xiaomi has also unveiled Mi Router HD in two version one with 1TB and another one with 8TB HDD.
1TB version may price under $200 (roughly Rs. 13,500) and 8TB may price under $500 (roughly Rs. 34,000).
