Xiaomi preps for imminent Redmi 4 and Redmi 4 Prime launch in India

Xiaomi officials have confirmed that the Redmi 4 and the Redmi 4 Prime will be launched in India within ashort span of time.

Xiaomi India’s VP and Redmi India shared the news with teaser image via twitter.

Xiaomi has recently launched the basic variant Redmi 4A at Rs. 5,999. Now Redmi 4 and Redmi 4 Prime launch looks imminent in India.

Earlier, Redmi 4 and Redmi 4 Prime was launched in China back in November.

The successor of Redmi 3S and Redmi 3S Prime are ready to hit the Indian market.

The Redmi 4 houses an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoCcoupled with Adreno 505 GPU.

The device sports a 5-inches HD display with a resolution of 720×1280 pixels.

The Redmi 4 comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage. It carries a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera.

The Redmi 4 was priced at CNY 699 (Roughly Rs. 6,900).

In comparison, The Redmi 4 Prime houses a 2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC coupled with Adreno 506 GPU.

The device sports a 5-inches HD display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels.

The Redmi 4 Prime comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage. It carries a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera.

The Redmi 4 Prime was priced at CNY 899 (Roughly Rs. 8,900).

Apart from this, both devices are backed by 4100mAh battery and both devices are run on MIUI 8 out of the box.

Both devices are houses fingerprint sensor on the rear panel.
