Xiaomi’s new flagship Mi 6 is coming, and a new major leak has given us a new look at both the handset, and the internal specs of the new devices.
Contrary to rumors that it would be powered by the Snapdragon 821, the Mi 6 and Mi 6 Plus will be powered by the newer Snapdragon 835 chipset.
The Mi 6 will have a 5.15-inch display with Full HD screen resolution.
The smaller device will be available in 4 and 6 GB RAM models, as well as storage options of 32, 64, and 128 GB. A 19 MP camera on the back and an 8 MP selfie shooter in front.
The Mi 6 Plus will offers a 5.7-inch display, also with Full HD resolution. The bigger handset will come standard with 6 GB RAM, and options for either 64 or 128 GB of storage.
However, the camera is less impressive than its baby brother, 12 MP in the back, and the same front-facing shooter.
Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus comes with bigger 4,500 mAh battery, also has dual-SIM capabilities.
Weirdly, the Mi 6 is expected to run Android 6.0 Marshmallow, and the Mi 6 Plus to run Android 7.0 Nougat.
We haven’t heard anything on the pricing for the handsets, but the Mi 6 and Mi 6 Plus are expected to be released next month.
