Xiaomi is all set to launch their next Redmi Smartphone in India on tomorrow May 16, 2017.
The company has already sent the media invitation regarding the launch event which will be held in Delhi.
The upcoming Redmi device is supposed to be the successor of Redmi 3S and Redmi 3S Prime.
Earlier, the Redmi 4 and Redmi 4 Prime was launch in China back in November 2016.
The Redmi 4 houses an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 coupled with Adreno 505 GPU.
The device sports a 5-inches HD display with a resolution of 720×1280 pixels.
The Redmi 4 comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage. It carries a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera.
The Redmi 4 was priced at CNY 699 (Roughly Rs. 6,900).
In comparison, The Redmi 4 Prime houses a 2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC coupled with Adreno 506 GPU.
The device sports a 5-inches HD display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels.
The Redmi 4 Prime comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage. It carries a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera.
The Redmi 4 Prime was priced at CNY 899 (Roughly Rs. 8,900).
The upcoming Indian variants are supposed to be priced at Rs. 10,000 and the device will be exclusively available on Amazon India.
