Xiaomi has launched Redmi 4 in India at an event in New Delhi along with the Mi router 3C.
The Redmi 4 comes with three variants which are almost similar to Redmi 4X in terms of design and specs.
The first one carries 2GB of RAM and 16GB of ROM; the second one carries 3GB of RAM and 32GB of ROM and the third one with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of ROM.
All three storage versions are powered by the Snapdragon 435, a similar set-up to Redmi 3S, an octa-core processor with 4 A53 performance cores and 4 power cores.
The newly launched device sports a 13MP with ultra-fast 0.1s focusing along with a 5MP front-facing shooter.
The Redmi 4 also comes with 5-inches display with 2.5D flash and rounded tapered edges.
In terms of connectivity options on the Redmi 4 include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB with OTG, Bluetooth v4.1, and 3.5mm audio jack.
The device will run Android Nougat based MIUI 8 preview ROM and it houses 4100mAh battery.
The Redmi 4 comes with matte black and elegant gold colors.
The Redmi 4 will go sale starting May 20 on Mi Home at Bangalore. It will be also up for sale via Amazon India and Mi.com starting from May 23.
The 2GB+16GB version is priced at Rs. 6,999, the 3GB+32GB version is priced at Rs. 8,999 and the 4GB+64GV version is priced at Rs. 10,999.
