Xiaomi’s Mi Router 3C launches in India to bring better Wifi for Rs. 1,199

Xiaomi has launched Mi Router 3C in India alongside Redmi 4 for Rs. 1,199.

The Mi Router 3C will be available to purchase from Mi Home Store on May 20 and via Mi.com on May 23.

It will be also up for sale on Amazon India and Flipkart from June 8.

The Mi Router 3C is company’s first router launched in India. It is compatible with both iOS and Android devices and it can be setup and managed via Mi Wi-Fi app.

The router features 4 dedicated antennae- two for transmitting data and the other two for receiving data. It comes with wide Wi-Fi range up to 80 meters and improved signal stability.

The Mi Router 3C is powered by 64MB RAM which is supposed to be eight times higher than most routers.

It offers a wireless speed of 300Mbps and able to connect up to 64 devices including 20 computing devices and 44 IoT devices.

In terms of protocols, it supports 802.11n Wi-Fi protocol at 2.4GHz. The device also has three colored LED indicator, two LAN ports, and one WAN port.

The Mi Router 4C measures 195x107x25.3mm with the antennae extending up to 178.90mm  and weigh 241gms.
