Recent leaks suggest that Xiaomi is already working on a successor version of Redmi 4.
Earlier, Xiaomi Redmi 4 was launched in China back in November last year in China.
The TENAA listing shows a device with a codename MAE136 and the listed device is speculated as Redmi 5.
According to the listing, Redmi 5 features a 5-inch display with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels.
The processor seems to be 15gHz octa-core one but the vendor name is not revealed.
The Redmi 5 may be powered by a 3 GB of RAM with 32GB of internal storage. It may support external SD card up to 128GB.
It carries a 13-megapixel rear facing shooter with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front facing shooter at the front.
The leak also suggests, the Redmi 5 will have a fingerprint sensor and the device will be backed by a 4,000mAh battery.
