Xiaomi India head and global VP Manu Kumar Jain has confirmed that the company is going to launch dual camera handset in India on next month.
The dual camera handset is supposed to be Mi 5X which was launched in China last month along with MIUI 9.
The device was launched in one variant featuring 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.
The Mi 5x gets a new variant houses 32GB of ROM and 4GB of RAM. The new storage version is up for sale in China with Black, Gold, and Pink color versions.
The newly launched variant carries a cheaper price tag of CNY 1,299 (~Rs. 12,500). While the 64GB+4GB version was priced at CNY 1,499 (~Rs. 14,200).
The Mi 5X is powered by octa-core 64-bit Snapdragon 625 SoC. The processor is made on 14nm process.
It sports 5.5-inch full HD display with a resolution of 1080*1920P. It houses metal unibody design with rounded corner.
In terms of camera, the Mi 5X features dual rear camera setup.
It comes with 12-megapixel wide-angle with 1.25-micron pixel sensor and f/2.2 aperture, and a 12-megapixel telephoto with 1-micron pixel sensor and f/2.6 aperture.
The device also carries a 5MP front facing shooter.
The device will be backed by 3080mAh battery. Other considerable features include- fingerprint sensor, 4G VoLTE, USB Type C port, 3.5mm audio jack and much more.
