The wait is over! The most anticipating and long rumored Mi Mix 2 is here. The latest bezel-less flagship from Xiaomi is official now in China.
The Mi Mix 2 has launched in China along with Mi Note 3 and Mi Notebook Pro. The successor of Mi Mix has got a noticeable improvement.
The device sports a 5.99-inches bezel-less a display with full HD resolution of (1080×2160 pixels) 18:9 display with a pixel density of 403ppi.
The device comes in four variants- the first one with 6GB RAM and 64GB ROM, the second one with 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM and the third one with 6GB of RAM and 256GB of ROM.
The fourth variant is a special edition which comes with a full ceramic body. It houses 8GB of RAM and 128GB of ROM.
Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 be 11.9 percent smaller in the body compared to the 6.4-inch Xiaomi Mi Mix. It is also 2.5 percent thinner, and 11.5 percent lighter than its predecessor.
In terms of camera, It sports a 12-megapixel Sony IMX386 sensor with 1.25-micron pixels, 4-axis optical image stabilization, 5-piece lens, a f/2.0 aperture, as well as a facial recognition.
On the front, it bears a 5-megapixel front camera with a facial recognition function.
Connectivity options includes 4G LTE, dual-band (2.4GHz and 5GHz) Wi-Fi 802.11ac, GPS/ A-GPS, Bluetooth v5.0, and USB Type-C.
The 6GB+64GB version is priced at CNY 3299 (~ $505), the 6GB+128GB version is priced at CNY 3599(~ $551) and the 6GB+256GB version is priced at CNY 3999(~$612).
The Special Edition with 8GB RAM and 128GB ROM is priced at CNY 4699 (~$720).
