Xiaomi has unveiled the Mi Mix 2 and the device has managed to gather huge response from the Chinese fans.
Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 will go on sale starting from September 15 and the pre-registration is open for the most anticipating device.
Ahead of the September 15 sale date, the device has received an enormous response from the fans. The registration already surpasses 700,000 at the time of writing.
The reservation will be open until September 15 and it is expected that the registration will reach 1 million. Though all registration will not be transformed into a real, though the Mi Mix 2 sale is supposed to be a record breaker.
The device sports a 5.99-inches bezel-less a display with full HD resolution of (1080×2160 pixels) 18:9 display with a pixel density of 403ppi.
The device comes in four variants- the first one with 6GB RAM and 64GB ROM, the second one with 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM and the third one with 6GB of RAM and 256GB of ROM.
The fourth variant is a special edition which comes with a full ceramic body. It houses 8GB of RAM and 128GB of ROM.
Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 be 11.9 percent smaller in the body compared to the 6.4-inch Xiaomi Mi Mix. It is also 2.5 percent thinner, and 11.5 percent lighter than its predecessor.
In terms of camera, It sports a 12-megapixel Sony IMX386 sensor with 1.25-micron pixels, 4-axis optical image stabilization, 5-piece lens, a f/2.0 aperture, as well as a facial recognition.
On the front, it bears a 5-megapixel front camera with a facial recognition function.
The 6GB+64GB version is priced at CNY 3299 (~ $505), the 6GB+128GB version is priced at CNY 3599(~ $551) and the 6GB+256GB version is priced at CNY 3999(~$612).
The Special Edition with 8GB RAM and 128GB ROM is priced at CNY 4699 (~$720).
