The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A Prime has allegedly been spotted on the US FCC website. The listing suggests that Xiaomi is preparing to its first device in the US market, according to a report from GSMArena.
However, Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A Prime was launched in China back in August this year. The spotted device is almost identical to Redmi Note 5A Prime.
If the rumors and listing come true the Redmi Note 5A will be first Xiaomi handset in the US. However, the listing doesn’t reveal specs details of the allegedly spotted device.
The Redmi Note 5A Prime which was launched in China houses octa-core 64-bit Snapdragon 435 SoC coupled with Adreno 505 GPU.
The Prime version comes in two storage versions- the first one with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage and the second one with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of ROM. It also supports expandable storage up to 128GB.
Redmi Note 5A Prime sports 13MP camera at the rear and 16MP selfie camera at the front. It also houses a fingerprint scanner at the rear panel.
It houses 2 SIM slots and a microSD card slot and will run on MIUI 9 out of the box. The device will be backed by 3080mAh battery.
The Redmi Note 5A Prime 3GB+32GB version was priced at CNY 899 ($135) and the 4GB+64GB version was priced at CNY 1199 ($179).
