Xiaomi has recently launched Redmi 5A in China at a wallet-friendly price tag.
The successor of Xiaomi Redmi 4A comes with similar design and specs with slight changes. However, the changes are not huge from its predecessor.
The main difference is the newly launched Redmi 5A features an ultra-light all-metal body over its predecessor. All other design aspects are almost same.
The Redmi 5A sports a 5-inch display with HD resolution of 1280 x 720p.
The device is house a Quad-core Snapdragon 425 chipset clocked at 1.2GHz.

However, there is no word regarding the 3GB variant comes from the company. The company may launch the 3GB version later just like Redmi 4A.
It features a 13MP rear camera that supports PDAF and LED flash along with a 5MP shooter. The device will be backed by a 3,000mAh battery which is slightly lower than Redmi 4A (3,120mAh).
The device is priced at CNY 599 ($90).
