Xiaomi to launch New Smartphone Series in India on November 2

Xiaomi is set to launch new smartphone series in India on November 2, 2017. The company has sent media invitation to press ahead of the upcoming launch event.

Xiaomi has also tweeted about the new series launch in India. The company has also mentioned that the upcoming device will be a perfect choice for taking selfies.

Xiaomi has already introduced Mi and Redmi series in India. The only remaining series is yet to be launched in India is Mi Note series. It is highly expected that Xiaomi is going to launch Mi Note 3 on November 2.

The Mi Note 3 was launched back in September in China. The Mi Note 3 is said to be the larger version of Xiaomi Mi 6. It comes with similar specs except for the size. The device features 7 series aluminum frame with matte texture and four glass body with curved edges.

The device sports a 5.5-inches full HD 1080P display. The design is identical to Mi 6.

It comes with two storage version. It houses 6GB RAM along with 64GB/128GB of ROM. The company has also introduced a premium Blue edition with 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM.

In terms of the powerhouse, it comes with a Snapdragon 660 SoC clocked at up to 2.2GHz. The device will be backed by a 3500mAh battery.

In terms of camera, the Mi Note 3 carries the same primary camera as Mi 6.

It carries dual rear camera setup with a 12-megapixel sensor coupled with a wide-angle lens, f/1.8 aperture, and 4-axis optical image stabilization, and the second 12-megapixel sensor coupled with a telephoto lens, and a f/2.6 aperture.

At the front, it carries 16-megapixel sensor with 2-micron pixels for taking noiseless selfies.

The major highlights of Mi Note 3 are improved AI beautifications and facial recognition unlocking.

The 6GB+64GB Black edition was priced at CNY 2499 (~$384) and the 6GB+128GB Black edition was priced at CNY 2899 ($445).

The premium Blue edition of 6GB+126GB was at CNY 2999 ($460).
