Xiaomi has launched a new storage variant in China. The new storage variant comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage.
Previously all variants of Mi were launched with 6 GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of storage capacity respectively.
All other specs and configurations of Mi 6 4GB variant are remaining same as its previous storage version. The new variant will be available for purchase on November 11 in China.
Xiaomi Mi 6 4GB+64GB variant is priced at CNY 2,299 (~$350). Xiaomi has not confirmed about the global launch of new storage variant.
Analyst suggests that the new storage variant is supposed to launch in other markets outside China; especially in India. It seems that the company is planning to launch an affordable variant in India.
The Mi 6 is powered by latest octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC clocked at 2.45GHz coupled with 6GB of RAM and Adreno 540 GPU.
Xiaomi claims that the MI 6 can beat Samsung S8 and Apple iPhone 7 in benchmark results such as AnTuTu.
It features a 5.15-inch display but the resolution info is yet to revealed by the company. Xiaomi Mi 6 comes with four-sided 3D glass features and also features stainless steel sides.
As expected, it sports dual camera set-up features a 12-megapixel wide-angle lens and another 12-megapixel telephoto camera with 2X lossless zoom.
For connectivity, the Xiaomi Mi 6 supports 4G+ networks with a download speed of up to 600Mbps and up to 100Mbps upload speed.
The handset packs 3350mAh battery and able to lasts the whole day with optimized MIUI. The Mi 6 also sports dual speaker for an immersive experience for music and video play.
