Xiaomi has launched a cheaper variant of Mi Note 3. The newly launched variant comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage.
Previously the MI Note 3 was available in 6GB of RAM along with 64GB/128GB of ROM. There was also a premium Blue edition with 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM.
The newly launched 4GB+64GB variant of Mi Note 3 is priced at CNY 1,999 (~300) and will be up for sale starting on Thursday.
Apart from a new cheaper variant, the company has also reduced the price of existing variants of Mi Note 3. The new price of 6GB+64GB variant is CNY 2.299 (~$346) and the new price of the 6GB+128GB variant is CNY 2599 (~$391).
The newly launched variant carries same specs and feature of previously launched variants. The device features 7 series aluminum frame with matte texture and four glass body with curved edges.
The newly launched Mi Note series device sports a 5.5-inches full HD 1080P display. The design is identical to Mi 6.
n terms of the powerhouse, it comes with a Snapdragon 660 SoC clocked at up to 2.2GHz. The device will be backed by a 3500mAh battery.
In terms of camera, the Mi Note 3 carries the same primary camera as Mi 6.
It carries dual rear camera setup with a 12-megapixel sensor coupled with a wide-angle lens, f/1.8 aperture, and 4-axis optical image stabilization, and the second 12-megapixel sensor coupled with a telephoto lens, and a f/2.6 aperture.
At the front, it carries 16-megapixel sensor with 2-micron pixels for taking noiseless selfies. The major highlights of Mi Note 3 are improved AI beautifications and facial recognition unlocking.
It also carries full NFC feature, under glass fingerprint sensor, USB Type C port, Quick Charge 3.0 and much more. For connectivity purposes, it comes with 4G LTE, dual-band (2.4GHz and 5GHz) Wi-Fi 802.11c, Bluetooth v5.0 and GPS/ A-GPS.
