Xiaomi Mi 7 to enter production in February 2018

Xiaomi Mi 7

Xiaomi has become the member of Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) back in September this year. Since then it was rumored that the next flagship from Xiaomi will carry Qi standard wireless charging feature.

Fresh rumors and leaks suggest that the company will enter production of Mi 7 before China’s Spring Festival. The Mi 7 is supposed to be the first device from the company to feature wireless charging technology.

The Mi 7 is supposed to come with the same foundation as Apple for wireless charging and it may houses same Broadcom chip and NXP transmitter that enables wireless charging.

The Mi 7 is rumored to sports a 6-inch AMOLED screen by Samsung. As the powerhouse, the phone may house Snapdragon 845 SoC along with 6GB of RAM.

In terms of camera, it may feature a pair of f/1.7 aperture 16-megapixel rear-facing camera sensors. The front-facing info is not available yet.

There is no word from Xiaomi yet about the production and specs of Mi 7. Xiaomi Ninja will post all updates regarding Mi 7.
