Xiaomi has launched the red variant of Mi A1 in the Indian market.
The Red edition is a limited edition of Mi A1 and the device will be up for sale starting from December 20, 2017. Indian consumers can buy the device from Mi.com and Flipkart.
The device will be also available via Mi Home stores, Mi Preferred Partner stores, and retail partner stores.
There are no changes in hardware except for the color. Price is also unchanged that means the Red variant can be purchased for Rs, 13,999.
The Mi A1 sports a 5.5-inch full HD screen that produces a resolution of 1,920 x 1080 pixels. It carries Gorilla Glass 3.0 as a protector.
The Mi A1 ﬂagship dual camera setup uses a 12 megapixel 50 mm telephoto lens and a 12 megapixel, 26 mm wide-angle lens which will deliver a DSLR like an experience according to the company.
The smartphone bears a 5-megapixel front camera with a real-time beautification mode.
It houses the power efficient Snapdragon 625 chipset along with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of native storage and a microSD card slot.
It also features a USB-C port that can be used for fast charging the 3,080mAh battery of the smartphone.
The device will feature some Xiaomi app which includes MIUI Camera, Mi Apps, Mi Store and Mi Remote app. The user will also have unlimited storage on Google Photos.
As an Android One Smartphone, it is confirmed to receive Android O and Android P update. The company is rolling out the Android Oreo Beta update for Mi A1.
