The Xiaomi Redmi 5A launched a few days ago in India and already went on several flash sales via online platforms.
Now the company is going to sell Redmi 5A via offline stores all across India.
The company launched two storage variants of Redmi 5A.
The first with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable internal storage and the second with 2 GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable internal storage.
The 3GB+32GB variant will go on offline sales first. The 2GB+16GB variant will be available in physical stores at a later date.
The 3GB RAM version is available at Rs. 6,999 via online stores. Consumers have to pay Rs. 7,499 if they buy the device from the offline stores.
Xiaomi Redmi 5A Key highlights:
The Redmi 5A sports a 5-inch display with HD resolution of 1280 x 720p.
The device is powered by Quad-core 1.4 GHz Cortex-A53 Qualcomm MSM8917 Snapdragon 425 SoC along with Adreno 308GPU.
It features a 13MP rear camera that supports PDAF and LED flash along with a 5MP shooter. The device will be backed by a 3,000mAh battery which is slightly lower than Redmi 4A (3,120mAh).
The device will run on Nougat based MIUI 9 ROM. It also provides support for external microSD up-to 128GB. The device houses two dedicated SIM slot and one microSD card slot.
For connectivity purpose, it supports 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and much more. The color options are Champagne Gold, Pink and Grey colors.
