Rumors: Redmi Note 5 may house Snapdragon 632 SoC and 4GB RAM

A few days ago a super moderator of MIUI Forum claimed that Redmi Note 5 will not come and the Redmi 5 Plus is the replacement of the Redmi Note 5.

But recent rumors suggest that the Redmi Note 5 is in development and supposed to launch in the second quarter of 2018.

The Redmi Note 5 rumored to be powered by Qualcomm‘s Snapdragon 632 processor, However, SD 632 has not been announced and Redmi Note 5 will be the first device to launch with it.

The Qualcomm‘s Snapdragon 632 is said to be a toned-down version of Snapdragon 636 processor. It will provide better support for full display and dual camera setup.

As the latest trend, the Redmi Note 5 will carry full-screen display with minimal bezels surrounding the display. It may sports a 5.99-inch Full HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio.

In terms of memory, the Redmi Note 5 will carry 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. It may come with several storage versions.

Coming to the camera, the phone is supposed to carry dual camera setup at the back, featuring two 12-megapixel sensors.

The Redmi Note 5 is expected to be priced around  CNY 1,599 (~$245).
